Welcome to the KiSS Café!
NewsMarch 22, 2013The KiSS forum board was closed as it only gathered 3 posts in the last 2 years. If you want to talk about KiSS I think the DeviantArt club is the right place for that - or at least they should be able to tell you where the party is. : ) Yup, I still plan to re-upload my old dolls but in the meantime my home computer broke and currently I neither know where I put the backup nor do I have working KiSS software for screenies. I'll get to it once I faced the other heaps of work in front of me. ^,~Dec 24, 2012 Shuichi joined into the fun and sent two dolls for your enjoyment. Merry Xmas! My apologies if the website is sometimes awfully slow at the moment. One of the server's harddrives broke and the provider couldn't replace it yet, so the remaining disk sometimes goes into a crawl when looking for its partner. I'm in the process of cleaning up the harddrives in my own pc whenever time allows and I'm going to upload the original version of my old dolls and a few cancelled betas in the near future before I archive everything to an external disk. I doubt they'll get stolen much these days and that will at least liven up the place a bit. :)April 09, 2012 Today my online comic Seekers celebrates its 9th anniversary. Since my team members are avid KiSS fans there are 3 new Seekers themed dolls today. Two are solely by me (eph), the other one is a collab between me and the comic team. Please note they are all labeled as betas. Usually I don't upload my demo versions here but they didn't fit my comic website anymore and most people wouldn't find them on the forum. Each doll has a ton of items and snap-to and is thus playable. Have fun - and read my comic! : )To read older news, please click here. |
What is KiSS?
KiSS dolls are virtual dress-up dolls for your computer. You change a doll's clothes by clicking and dragging with your mouse, and they often have some fancy effects like blinking eyes, make-up goodness or several hairdos. Animated objects and sounds are also common effects.
Artists make all kind of dolls. There are loads of original characters from all genres to choose from, and also characters from books, movies or anime. A doll doesn't even have to be human, there can be dollhouses, Christmas trees or puzzles too.
To play with the dolls, you first need to install a viewer software and then download some dolls.
